Come From Away has traveled across North America with four pre-Broadway runs, including La Jolla Playhouse, Seattle Repertory Theatre, Ford's Theatre and Mirvish Productions.

Along the way, we shared our story with new audiences and built unforgettable memories.

In late October 2016, Come From Away traveled to Newfoundland and Labrador to perform two benefit concerts in Gander.

100% of ticket sales went to local Newfoundland charities that supported the affected communities:

Salvation Army Food Bank in Gander
Gambo’s Smallwood Academy Breakfast Program/Positive Behaviour Support
Lewisporte Heritage Society
Appleton Recreation Commission
Norris Arm Lions Club
During our trip to Newfoundland, we met the people who inspired our story, visited the places we recreate onstage every day and experienced firsthand the Newfoundland hospitality.

Tom Brokaw, having first covered the story 17 years ago in the documentary "Operation Yellow Ribbon," came to see Come From Away and met with our cast, creative team, Gander locals and Come From Aways.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau visited Come From Away in March to experience the story of Canadians at their best. During his pre-show speech, he focused on the relationship between Canada and the United States, and invited Ivanka Trump to join him for the performance.
